Ealing's 12&U Team Become South-East Regional Champions 2025/26

Our Ealing 12&U Boys team had a fantastic season in the LTA National League. The team, led by captain Theo and made up of James, Philip, Elliot, and Jaime, trained hard over the winter and were excited to compete in the summer season.

Like the 14&U boys teams, the 12's were also placed in the regional tier. They played brilliantly throughout their division, starting off strong, winning all their matches and reaching a crucial final match to decide who would go to the National Finals. After a long series of matches it ended up as a 6-6 draw, it all came down to a doubles shootout tiebreak to decide the winner of the tie. The boys showed great determination and edged a thrilling win, 15-13, to qualify for the LTA National League Finals and become South East England Champions.

The 12&U boys were excited to play at the National Tennis Centre playing against the other best clubs in the country and showcase why they deserved to be there. It was also fantastic to see the 12&U boys playing alongside the Ealing 14&U team, a great achievment to have two teams competing at the Nationl League Finals. The 12&U boys faced Ashby Castle LTC in their first match and played some excellent tennis, but after some very close matches it didn't quite go their way ultimately losing the tie. The team bounced back with a strong performance in the third-place play-off against Cambridge LTC, winning 8-4 to finish 3rd place in the country.

It was a hugely successful season for the 12&U boys, and having both the 12&U and 14&U teams at the National Finals shows that Ealing LTC is one of the top junior clubs in the country. Well done to all the players!
